Hi,
Just found your work on the web and was total captivated with it. I love wood and I have never seen it used in such a wonderful way that gives it so much credibility.
I am an artistic person and I have a son who is studying art at present, he likes furniture design and working with wood I can't wait to show him your work I am sure he will be truly inspired by it.
I believe a true artist is one who can work with things of nature and not against them, keep up the good work - there are not many gifted people like you around these days.
Yours sincerely,
Julie Jacques

I just wanted to say how much I like the NightWing web site. It's a very refreshing change from so many sites I've seen. Your art is like nothing I've come across before - and that's saying something. Highly original, and you're to be commended for that! It is great to see the sculpture Studio / Workshop feature pages, too - they add a lot. I don't think I quite realised what we were looking at until I saw that.
The way the different timbers are put together to make the shapes and add contrasts and symbolism is very effective, although I expect that it must be quite difficult to achieve, especially when the carved surfaces pass across from one timber into another (such as in the piece called 'Room for Dreaming', which I think is my favourite). The cup sets are terrific too - I just love the silky oak and ash ones.
I've bookmarked the site, as I think it is quite remarkable. Please keep on making your truly wonderful art.

Came across this site by chance several days ago, and I've been back several times since. How do you do it - it completely amazes me. I've tried some sculpture with wood myself, but nothing to compare with these!
The images are so clear too, you feel you can nearly touch the pieces. Would love to know how the finish is done to get the look they have.
Great art works, great web site. I'm very impressed!
